    Accurate Denim Jeans/Levi's Question

I'm working on a biker-type character and need denim jeans that actually look like denim jeans and not the "mom jeans" Fonzie or Action Jackson has.

Anyone found these before or possibly made them?

Bo Duke jeans look like jeans, but they are not dark.

      I think it's Jessica.

          Thanks! I'll ask her.

          I forgot about Dukes.

              Hmmmm....

They'd be easy to make, if you can find decent cloth. I've seen button up shirts the right colour, and if you don't mind a LOT of work, you can chop down a pair of Barbie jeans. (Or similar.)

What's worst? Mom jeans or Dad jeans?

That's what I was initially wondering if someone has attempted. I don't think a simple hemming would work, would it?

                    Dad's wear "slacks".

And Fonzie is in a pair of mom jeans. I was doing a mockup on the figure and something just wasn't right...

It's a little more work than that. You'd measure off the inseam, and rehem the waist and legs, and take in the pants from the outside seams. You'd need a fairly simple pair, 'cos any fancy stuff along the waist would have to be removed, or it'd look off.

I'm ready to make a pair of jeans if this is what you're looking for:

Those who look outside dream. Those who look within awake.
Samples of my work are found here: Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness

                        To do list:
1:6 boots for Mathilda, 1:1 Romulan Commander outfit, Ursus helmet; Cornelius appliance
                        1:9 scale ape's new suit for Cornelius;

So THAT'S what Zaius wears on weekends, when he's not putting chimpanzees on trial for heresy...I thought so.

Anyone ever had the 'cajones' to tell him jeans were an invention of man?
