What's the best way to make Custom Gloves?

So, I've made my first pair of custom gloves, but surely there's a better way. I stacked two pieces of vinyl together and cut them with a hot razor. The hot razor sealed the ends, but obviously had limitations around corners. The technique seems sound, but I need a better tool to do the job.

I was thinking about taking those flexible metal paper binders to form the shape. The have a sharp enough edge to cut, plus they can be formed into different shapes. Anyone ever done this, or have better ideas?

    Thanks.

Here's another site that sells variable temp ones.http://www.woodburning.com/toolshop/type.asp?iType=17 You could attach a wire in the shape of the glove, to one of these, then press it into the vinyl once its heated to correct temp and fuse the pieces together.

you have to bend a steel wire is the shape of the glove and hook it up to a electrical power source (sodering iron)
put vinyl on a stone base covered with teflon ,Place wire frame on teflon place teflon over that and press with a block cover with
        heat resistent rubber.
