Hving trouble printing pattern to mego size

I'm trying to print the trenchcoat pattern to a 8" mego scale but I'm not having any luck.I know this subject has been covered on the message board before and I read all the past posts and I still can't get it to print right.I don't know if it matters or not but I have a inkjet printer made by HP.Could someone let me know what I'm doing wrong or how I can get it to finally print out right.If I can't get it to print out right,I'll take it to kinkos and have them do it.If I do,how should I tell them to print it out?Thanks for your help and I look forward to hearing from everyone in hopes that I can finally print it out.

what I had to do was bring the pattern into Adobe Illustrator. Then I made a guideline that was 1 inch by 1 inch. Then I shrank or expanded the pattern until the ruler included with the pattern matched up to the guideline I made....which was a bit tedious but it worked.
