    Cat Damon presents, THE X-MEN

Well here it is!! Almost a year in the making!!!!
I am excited to have these finally done!!!
I was just waiting for The Beast to dry. He is going out tomorrow in the mail to a member megocanada. I wanted to put his Beast in the picture to show how what it looked like before I sent it out so he knew what he was getting.
My daughter has been after me for an X-men Mego line for awhile.

85% of the bodies and parts come from Dr. Mego.

The rest (like the wheel chair) came from stuff I pegged off Ebay cheap.

Always cool to see ongoing projects grouped up like that. Congrats on getting so far along. I've been wanting to do X-men for years and never could get going. Finally decided to just let Brian Leitner make them for me.

In the Southeast Pacific, lies the sunken city of R'Leyh. There lies C'thulhu waits to return to our world with the other Great Old Ones. A hideous creature of enormous size and alien power, it waits for it's time to return patiently. For it has all the time in the world while it waits for the stars.

The wheel chair was tricky. I bought one awhile back for my custom famous cover Professor X from a Barbie doll that came with a wheel chair. I didn't really have to do too much modifying for it back then, except for the feet rests needed to be moved up. It still looked too big and always bothered me but I left it alone.

The trick this time was getting the chair to fit the 8" size.
So, when I found another one on EBay really cheap in a doll lot. I got it back here (and gave my daughter the miscellaneous stuff in the lot for her Barbies). I literally took the wheel chair apart and re crafted it to fit the 8" mego size.
Finally after about an hour and a half of drying. Professor X was ready to sit in his wheel chair.
