I'm interested, I'm surprised it hasn't been done before. And Grayson's SI suit, too, for that matter...
No, not factory made. Home made would be the way.

The CTV version is inaccurate in shape and size,..only Doc Mego makes the correct one,..only that its in hard plastic,..wish it was rubber,..i have an original boxed Zorro, but missing his original hat (typical).

I think $20.00 for the hat and glasses shipped in a bubble envelope would be fair..

It's cool that you have the skill for this, Lonnie

I agree with the folks already who mentioned that marking Kent glasses and Zorro hats or whatever, would be just as essential as doing a good job with your repros.

They will be sold one day, and then they will get sold again, and it won't be long before someone buys an original that isn't an original.

Actually making Kent's hat in rubber wouldn't be a bad idea, it would fit much better and then you can also tell that it is not an original.

If you can make them in rubber and they're clean, I'm in.

Have to see the end result and the price first. Otherwise, I'm interested. I have a feeling there may be a market for different styled glasses (aviator sun glasses, round glasses, etc.??)out there in the Mego verse.

As long as they looked nice and were a reasonable price I'd be interested in a hat & glasses as I know I'll most likely never get originals. As much as I hate repro stuff, sometimes they are a necessary evil.

Glasses is all I need to finish my Clark Kent...I'd be in for a pair.

They're small and fragile so I'm not sure how I could make mold for them. I'd hate to ruin them trying to make the mold! I'll have to contemplate some more...

I would try a push mold approach using just old school sculpy. With vasoline as your release agent it shouldn't hurt your original at all
