Custom Repro Clark Kent Glasses

How much would you be willing to pay for an exact replica of the Mego Clark Kent glasses? I'm just wondering if it would be worth it to make a mold and cast some in black rubber. I was also think about making a accurate reproduction of his "reporter hat". Any interest in those?

I think glasses would be great, if you keep the price reasonable. The hat... not so much. The CTVT Wild Bill is really close and only a buck.

The repro glasses are way different from the originals,..and are a rubber type....do you have a price? i may be interested...

I'm just wondering if there is enough interest to put the money and trouble into making a mold and getting some casting rubber. The Doc Mego glasses aren't anything like the original. The Wild Bill hat just isn't close enough to look like an original. clark had a hat all his own. Three people are interested so far. Maybe more people will read this thread and respond...

The hat is different enough from the Wild Bill hat that making a repro would probably be a good idea. I would be interested in both, as long as it wasn't some huge price. If it was kept in the realm of what the Doc can do or slightly higher, I think it would be great.

As long as there was a definitive way to tell the difference between your repros and the original, i would support your idea for the glasses. The Hat, i would not be all that bothered about, besides, the original hat doesn't even fit.

I'd be interested but like Chris said, they'd have to be around what Doc charges for his stuff. You'd also have to mark them somehow as well.
