You know it dawned on me after I posted that a third plug wouldn't even be needed - all one has to do is pour silicone in without release agent to finish the last wall... since it's a roto mold, you just need to pour some material in one mold half before closing it up and spinning it.Comment

I'd think it's way easier to get a hollow cast over making two molds and having pieces to glue together. I'm not sure if a hollow torso would be lighter than a two-part one, but easier and faster to make for sure.Comment

Roto-casting, is easy to do with just turning the mold with your hands. That's how I make hollow bodies. It is so simple...Comment
