Oven mitt gloves or painted Cast-A-Way hands?

I need everybodys opinion on a custom I'm working on.I'm doing a 1966 Batman 8" figure and I already have the gloves(that I got from Classic Plastick)and they look great but they look like the mego oven mitt gloves that you can't see the fingers.I was thinking about buying some gripping hand from Cast-A-Way Toys and painting them to match the gloves and just cut off the hand part of the gloves so that they look more like fingered gloves.I would like everybodies opinion what you think would look best and if my method of doing it is a good way to do it.Thanks to everyone and I hope to hear from everyone and voice your opinion.

My vote is for the hybrid. That would look good.
I personally love Wes's gloves he makes and use them for that neu retro look. But I also like the fingers showing.
But a hybrid would look cool.

Me, I would paint the hands and use the awesome slip on gauntlets they sell.

These parts take automotive vinyl paint like a champ!
