Who wouldn't be it's fantastic... and no worries about my advice, it's free My only point was that if you are careful you can get a good result, and that's the proof!
The spray paint job turned out really nice... The darkened sleeves are a plus too..

Here is one that I used vinyl spray on (tunic and helmet). The finish is really good. It came from a vintage car restoration website. I also used black ink to dye the purple a bit darker as regular dye wouldn't take.
