    UFC Bodies!!!

Hey this weekend I was just messing around and I took a new UFC fighter figure and turned it into a mego klingon. The bodies are scale but the heads are not. I started with some wire cutters and cut the head into a ball. Then I took an EMCE kirk head that I had cut the neck off to glue onto one of my shrunken heads, so I have a bunch of mego heads with no neck. The UFC figure has the neck onto the chest like a DCUC, so just pop the mego head on and it has full motion. It looks up down side to side its great. Then I painted on a beard and gave him green eyes to make him a lil bit different and Klingon-y. I added an old Klingon tunic I just pick up from Bizzaro megomauler and added EMCE klingon pants and boots, he looks awesome and he is super articulated. He even has ufc battle gloves LOL, I plan to give him some doc mego hands or maybe just leave em it looks cool. I'm going to buy some more of these figures to amass an army. I'm going to try super joe like this too. I bought it at k-mart for 10.99, I'm buying more today try one out.

I had been eyeballing these figures for just such a purpose but couldn't figure out what to do about the heads. Your method sounds pretty good so I'll have to try it out! Thanks!

I am using an ARMY computer and it will not let me do all that , will someone let me e-mail them a picture then put the pic on this thread? I just went out to ToysRus and bought 3 UFC figures for 5.48 a piece but you have to tell them thats the website price.

I know a few of us have been using these bodies for a little while now. They are great!!!

As for the short feller, I just put a mask on him and left him be...made my sportsmaster custom out of him. He still fits in. As for the others, if you soak the head in hot water for a minute, the head pops right off without issue.

If Jakks goes through with the TNA figures, there will be a slough of bodies to use, as they will be in the same scale. I hope they do Tara...love to use her for a custom!!!

I don't take the head off, I chop at it with snips until its a ball then insert it into the mego head that has its neck cut off. then the mego head is like a ball joint and has full motion. How do you put your mego head on by popping off the ufc head?

I dont use a mego head...I dremelled out a resin cast head. I like your idea though....Hope you can post some pics soon...sounds like a neat way of doing things!

Random Axe has used some of these (or are they Jakks WWE figures --which used the same designs?) How do you work the heads Scott?
