    Restringing a T1 body question

    I'm just looking for opinions on what you think works better when restringing a T1 body: When you restring it, do you loop the elastic over the bar in the pelvis or under it?

    I've restrung them either way and was just wondering if you find one way gives less leg splay than the other...

    I have found if you go over the bar, you get less leg splay, but have a more difficult time if you want the figure to sit or hold any pose other than standing.

    Under the peg gives the classic splay, but lets you move the legs around a little more.

    I have also tried stringing straight up and down and a T position with the legs tied straight across and the arms in a T shape tied to the pelvic peg. The T thing was a pain and didn't really make any positive ground, I would not recommend it.

      What RCHE said. I always do "Over" if the bar is present. Works better.
