You haven't truly known fear until you've faced a masked and cowled vigilante in a diaper and parachute harness.

          I say the black Bats...
          "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn"

In the Southeast Pacific, lies the sunken city of R'Leyh. There lies C'thulhu waits to return to our world with the other Great Old Ones. A hideous creature of enormous size and alien power, it waits for it's time to return patiently. For it has all the time in the world while it waits for the stars.

The Batman on the right is my clear favorite for immediate treatment, because you did such an awesome job painting it up. I'd definitely go the route you mentioned, with Blue shorts, and the Yellow Oval logo, for that Neal Adams or Superfriends look. The Black one would be a good base for either a Gray / Black color scheme or even all black.

It's been said before, but deserves restating, you really can't have enough Batman figures. Ask any company that has held the license recently.
