Looks great. Maybe I should try this for Joanie Cunningham.

Actually, I like the relatively thicker legs - it gives the figure a 'gymnast' type build that works pretty well for teen female superheroes.

The formula I used was to start with a WonderGirl body, chopped down. I added ball joints to the waist and upper legs, resculpted the hip piece, recarved the feet (So they lie flat) added a neck like the 8" body, and repro'd arms from one of them Bible character figures. (Which was in scale, but used MALE Lionrock legs.) HUGE pain; but something needed to be done about the 7" female body.

Wow Don that sounds intense. Wish I had the skill and stamina to commit to a major overhaul like that. I bet its a kick ***** figure too.

also as some one also pointed out. The lionrock legs are more muscular, but since I was going for a Hero figure it works for me

Wow Don that sound intense. Wish I could commit to major overhaul like that. Bet the result is as killer as your other figures

Rascal legs give shorter figure with too long torso. Looked dwarfish. The lionrock legs are more beefy but since its a hero body. it worked for me. Plus under a body suit is gives a curvy hip thigh.

You're getting close. (It sorta HAPPENS....) Have you ever tried casting body parts?

I've finished a couple with the body:

              New custom - Mego Talk
Now, HERE'S something.... - Mego Talk

I'm working on a Fran Madaraki; from the "FrankenFran" comic, but I gotta chop the body down, since Fran is pretty thin.

Sorry I should have included that. The torso came from Dollar General Bratz type Knock off doll. They were posted here by another member as cheap 8" figures. But the necks were like giraffes. The clothing worked on female Mego's also

The new UFC Jakks figures are right about mego scale but the heads are a lil bit smaller. The bodies are very cool, I am making a Robin with one and their hands come off easily to pop in DOC mego hands.
