    painted hands vs. vinyl mitts

I see a lot of customs out there and I'm wondering about painted hands vs. vinyl mitts. Which do people prefer? Which is truly Mego? It seems the DC WGSH had vinyl mitts but the Marvel had pained hands. I'm making some Marvel customs right now but, I've added vinyl mitts and for some reason they just seem more Mego to me. They remind me of my childhood with my Batman and Robin and just feel right even though they kinda look stupid lol.
Opinions? What should a Byrne Cyclops, Vision and a Punisher wear?

If you wanna go 'early Mego', use t-1 bodies and oven mitts. That would be awesome. I love the Mego early style customs.

Personally, I'm not crazy about the oven mitts, but I do like gloves on the heroes, like Batman, so I like to use the plastic gloves (Andorian style) from Doc Mego's site.

          Hmmmm....

I go with painted hands, so the figure can hold stuff. Playability is a big deal with my customs.

I'd go with what you like. If oven mitts brings back those childhood memorys. Then thats the way you should go. Go with what makes ya happy.
