Question of the Week....Again.

Hi again.
This week's question. I ask with trepidation. For fear of dividing our peaceful community and being a source of possible civil war. But probably not.
This goes out to the tailors of the customizing group. Or anyone with an opinion. Which do you prefer? Metal fasteners, Plastic or Valcro? Share your opinion.

You mean for the snaps? Personally, I don't really care. As long as it works and looks good

The only time I can recall using velcro on a custom Mego was when I sewed the fuzzy side onto a dress as a last-minute imitation of fur trim. I usually use metal snaps, because they are what's usually available at the store. But if I get a really beat suit, I'll remove any decent snaps before throwing it away. So I've ended up with a few of those plastic snaps from time to time.

On the few occasions that I attempted sewing. I wanted to go with metal snaps. I had to settle for plastic. because that all I could find. I think metal snaps give a more traditional Mego feel to the custom.
