Hey everyone.... How would one go about styling hair on a female Mego? I mean with the rooted hair it seems a little difficult. For example.... if I wanted to give say Wonderwoman a "BUMP-IT" look , how would that be done?

I am betraying my ignorance here, but what in the Holy Heck is a BUMP-it look?
Anywho, the vintage heads don't have a lot of hair TO style, unlike Dinah-mite and Mary Ellen Walton.
First, get a fine toothed comb and get the knots out without removing too many hair plugs.
Then, go to a hairstyling magazine, and see how to achieve that look.
If it requires a lot of hair, then Wonder Woman's original hair might not do.
She might require a reroot in order to give her the amount that she needs, but not to worry, if you can't do it yourself, there are some really talented people here who can help you out.JediJaida -
Jaida might be right, that there might not be enough hair to do that style. I'm assuming that you want to take a section of WW's hair and make it puff up higher than the rest. Adding some hair to the section, especially if you use some larger bits of hair in the hole, will make it stand up higher. When you reroot, if you use too much hair, it will be thicker and won't lay as flat. If that's not enough, you could use pins, foil, curlers, and whatever else to "prop up" the section of hair, then do a hot water perm. You basically put a dish of water in the microwave, and heat it. Some people use boiling water, but depending on the type of hair, it can cause damage. So I usually only do 60 to 90 seconds. Dip the styled head in the water for a while, then remove it and let it cool/dry. When you remove your styling tools, the hair should retain the shape.Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?
