    Silicone casting?

I'd really like to copy the goggles I use for customs as they are a bit pricy from War-toys. How do I cast stuff in silicone, saw it mentioned in the Captain Cold custom thread and there used to be a guy here that did belts and stuff in silicone. I really need them to be flexable for my uses.

I am more interested in learning this for myself rather than paying someone to do it, kind of eliminates the cost effectiveness.

I would think it was just like casting plastic, but with mold release so it doesn't turn into a solid block.

The biggest question would be what to use for the silicone? Regular old stuff like what is used for aquarium repair? I can do one sided pushmolds of the goggles.

I would use some quick setting mold silicone for the castings. You could probably paint the inside of the mold to get your color to stick to your silicone cast.
