Even though space is tight for me at the moment I love to display my MEGOS with backgrounds to get a real "straight out of a comic book panel" scene. The playsets are too big for my liking so a simple backdrop is good enough for me. But what about you guys and gals? What would you like to see as the backdrop for yoru collection?

Behind my displayed mego's are mostly print outs of old comic book ads for old toys like SMDM, Evel Knievel and mego.Check out my website: Megozine Covers - Home -
I'd love a backdrop of the bar from Cheers. That way all my Megos, Superheroes, TV stars, and Movie stars can all hangout together on the same shelf having a brew.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Back in the late eighties, I designed a huge Enterprise set, complete with primary and secondary hulls. I also designed a city, with a street and outside of buildings on one side, and interiors on the other that would be the display case. Had a Wayne Manor/Batcave in the design stages too, but never finished the plans.
Would love to have those now (and the room for them.
As it is, I'm more than happy with the sets I have from Toyroom and Dida!"Crayons taste like purple!"Comment

I want the ballroom from the movie 'Labyrinth', which starred David Bowie.
Okay, I can hear everyone saying "HUH???"
It's not that ridiculous, when you think about it.
Of course, I am more than likely the only person that would want it, but that's just me.
For a sci-fi playset, I want either the bridge from the original Battlestar Galactica, or the bridge of the SuperStar Destroyer from Empire Strikes Back.
That was a kickin' set!JediJaidaComment

No printed fire hydrants or mail boxes. Just the walls.
Also, a roof top. This could have the floor, the hip walls and the door which you come out of.
Most comic scenes take places in these location so to me, they would make the best backdrops for figure display.
But especially for me would be a Perez inspired Teen Titans Tower Playset!"Hang on Lady... We go for a RIDE!" - Shorty to Willie Scott.Best movie line from Indiana Jones & the Temple Of DoomComment

LOVE IT!! Or that cool, late-night neon diner painting with Bogart, Marilyn, and other stars seen through the windows.
Personally on more of a select preference, I'd love a Moonbase Alpha for my Palitoy figures. I've tried them in the Mattel Alpha set, but the colors don't fit well together. That would be an easy custom for Scott at Dida..

Hmmm...
I would like an Electra Base (for Electra Woman and Dyna Girl, but I don't have them yet), or a Spider-Man playset for the '67 show complete w/ Daily Bugle graphic, w/ flagpole to flip around, and a pulley rope for Spidey to swing on.
