one of a kind head pricing?

What is a fair price for a one-of-a-kind custom sculpted Mego head? Also, what about an altered original Mego head with re-sculpted face and hair and ears? Assuming they look nice and not all pocked and uneven looking. We're talking nice looking stuff, not poor quality.

Ada Chan charges $450 to sculpt in Mego scale. Two years ago it was $185. Guess it's inflation.

Vartal is cheaper, but I can't remember the exact price. He used to be a member here.

I was meaning more something I did not something I want done. I've got a couple of heads and I'm not sure if I want to make custom figures or just sell the heads.

If I turn them into custom figures I don't want to show them until they are finished.

Are we talking original sculpts done by yourself or shrunken heads from other lines?

The going rate for an original sculpted head is $10? You're talking a recast. I'm talking an original, non-cast one-of-a-kind. Not a copy. I'm talking "only one" made. I'm not molding and casting. That would ruin the original I sculpted. And if I made a mold of the Francis 7 figure I'd want a at least $200 for a casting. And since nobody would pay that, I guess I won't be doing it.

Vartal did a really out-of-scale head for me for $75. Nice sculpt but totally useless to me. So that was a waste of cash...I don't think he even offers 1/9th scale anymore.

$25 for a logan's run prototype head cast. No way! More like $200.00.
