Enlarging Patterns?

I will soon have a Magnetic Robin coming my way but he doesn't have his tunic and cape. Which is fine because it gives me a project to work on by making my own.
Would it be safe to say that I could use the pattern from custom mego? If so, how much should I enlarge it by since I think the magnetic Robin is 12"

Sure. Why not?

If the figure is actually 12", that's a 150% increase. If the figure isn't quite 12" you'd hafta recalculate the percentage. (With 8" as 100%.) You might have to tailor it a bit, but a straight percentile increase should work.
