Can you believe that I am having trouble finding shoe goo in the stores? I snagged the household "goop" instead which is essentially the same **** anyway. I am about to make an astronaut helmet (well the top glass visor so to speak) for a 3 3/4 corps figure with it now

I hate to say it, but the household goop is absolutely horrible to work with. Close to one day and it is still not dry as well as what did dry still reak of fumes. I might have to go back to the regular hot glue method and go from there

Doubt it. They put this stuff on shoes to repair them. People touch their shoes all the time.
Now perhaps if you made a gob of it, let it harden and then swallow it, I suppose all kinds of health factors would be a concern then.

the great news is I found the real shoe goo. I also noticed it now comes in black besides the transparent color. I then see it boast "starts to try in 10 mins". Will give it a shot, the household goop as mentioned previously was horrible, perhaps then it is a bit differernt than my old friend shoe goo
