From what I understand, he does still make customs for a select few people (I'm not one of them) on a very limited basis. Do not know what his latest is however.
I saw Charlee at FX in Orlando last year. He is focusing on his music now. The last figure that I know of he produced was 3D-Man, although that was 2-3 years ago. If he does still make customs I'm not on the list either. I hope to see him again at FX 2008 but I never know if he's going until the last minute.
I made and sent Charlee over 200 different boxes from the endless list of characters we had. Some of my favorite boxes I did were for a KISS set he wanted to make. I personally always wanted him to make me a Nightwing and a Harley Quinn. He's a good guy and a good friend. The problem is he has no phone or computer so I can never get in touch with him.

Hmmm...I believe Type3Toys talks to him on the phone every so often. I could be wrong. Maybe John will comment on that.
As far as still making customs, I really do not know firsthand. I was told he does it on a very limited basis for only a select few and that they are few and far between....basically when he finds the time.

I actually called him the other day but he was not home. I also ran into him at this years FX show. As far a I know, he recently finish a Colussis(spelled wrong Im sure!) for someone. He did not have the figure with him, but he had pics of it. Like Scott mentioned, Charlee is in a band and seems to focus more on music these days.
I would love to see his version of Colossus
Looking for Remco Phantom. Mego mailer boxed figures

When you see him again, please tell him I said hi.
i agree with type3toys, in the beginning he made his custom figures using mego bodies with a little sculpy here and there to make arms or legs more muscular and he concentrated more with details and characters that mego didnt make or existing mego characters that could be improved upon. eventually his customs evolved into "art" if you will. the figures had custom bodies and the accessories that came with them were so realistic! scotta did make some kick *** boxes for charlee. i've bought some of charlee's figures thru him but lost contact with him over the years. just glad to hear he's doing ok.
hiswork is good just not mego like . i didnt like tehstyle of it. his work is 1 million times better then i could do and is awesome. but just not my style.
Look in Toyfare Vinny,.. I believe the figure they Use for Twisted Toy Theater,.. is his.

Indeed. They were not the Famous "Megoeque".. However they were "Evolved" ,.. Evolution if you will. The 8inch body was there,.. & He IS the Godfather of making a figure something More than just mego would have. But seriously in todays age of Figures,.. with the Star Wars line,.. marvel Legends, to name a few.. Who is to say if Mego was even around that their Respective line of figures that we all know & love would have even be the same ? I kinda think they might have evoled as well.
