This might have been brought up earlier--- if so I missed it,
But, what are you planning on doing for standard bridge chairs ?
Kirk's chair should be a snap with your customs know-how...
But, the standard bridge chairs will be another matter.
Something that eluded me for 5 years now.

Off the hook, I'd love to see this at MegoMeet, and I can guarantee if you bring it, space would be made to display it.

Damn, that is supersweet, the light effects are beyond cool.

About those chairs: the only one I have ever seen come close is Georg. He needed to touch them up a bit I think, but he had them pretty close to being done

          Star Trek Bridge Chairs

I have started work on the Bridge chairs, but I am not too far along yet.

Matt gave me a great suggestion, he told me that he was looking at using plastic spoons as a basic starting shape for his smaller Bridge chairs.

So, I went to my local dollar store and bought six basting spoons. They do seem to have the correct shape for the back of the Bridge chairs.

Here is a photo of three of them (primered), along with my Mego Spock.

          http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...idgeChairs.jpg

I will need to build the bottom chair supports, the cushions, and other details, but I do think that the spoons will provide a good basic shape.

P.S. If I can manage it (getting off of work), I will bring this Bridge to Megomeet 2008.

          Sincerely,

          John

Star Trek Bridge - New Photos

            Here are two new photos;

            http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...llLighted2.jpg

Just imagine, in addition to these lighting systems, all the control panels will soon have fiber optic lights blinking on and off in random sequences.

            Soon, very soon.

            Enjoy!

            Sincerely,

            John

The Christmas pictures are really nice. I love how Kirk's got the ladies hanging off of him, too.
