need some 1/6 scale help and information

ok these are two shots I greatly brightend in photoshop. Now it is easier to see. In this shot it looks like a hood but with the camo scarf underneath, likewise earlier/later in the film you could see the gas mask like eyes (which I did not show here).

So in the end I was off a little as well.

and that is what made it worse because most of the time he is in shadow of some sort so you really have not much of any idea what the hell you are seeing or much less how he can see.

at least now we know what the hell that thing is. So I can prob emulate that with the camo veil face cover I picked up

just an update.
The pants/trousers I ordered from singapore (listed in an above post) the guys camera exposure was off making them appear greenish when in fact they were tan. I used rit olive drab and dyed the outfit to a dark green.

I could not find a regular 12" joe (or knock off) in the stores at all!! All of them now are like 12" molded pieces of plastic (fabric molded on). I did find Indy's son from the last Indiana Jones film as this was still made the classic way (until I noticed he had a stupid arm moving device with a knob sticking out of his back). I used an x-acto knife and removed this device from him. I then aded the dyed clothes.

however I still needed the helmet. I then did more looking and more seeking on the film itself and realized though ww2 outfit, the one I picked was wrong (but close)

I found this custom on ebay as this is really what he was wearing (even down to the same boot/lower pants style). So to get a real action figure, and outfit I just ordered this below:

I can now create this damn character who is shown (slightly squished in the pics) in a few posts above. The pitchfork from Hong Kong was shipped Dec 15 so hopefully it will arrive here soon

I hope so. I just have to get thick "black gloves" and a sawed off shotgun (or some sort of short double barrle thing he used) but I am in no rush for this yet. I also really do not want to color the lower boots/legging darker (closer to green/black rather than brown) but I might do it once they come in
