    NuMego Bodies

I wanted to ask if anyone here has removed the NuMego neck stem and how it’s done?

I wanted to put a Mego head with a neck plug on a NuMego body for a custom I have in mind, but I’m not sure how or if it’s possible to remove the neck stem without breaking anything.

The body shown in the picture, brown Star Trek body is what I will be using.

Appreciate any help, and thank you.

There is a video on YouTube by Rachel Baker that describes this. It involves cutting off the stem and heating a large screw head, pressing it into the body to make a hole. She puts a Kirk head on a nu Action Jackson body.

PS I think the AJ body she used had bands. I don't know the inner mechanics of the bandless bodies, so you might have to do some research there, or use a banded NuMego.

Thanks for the video, it seems simple enough. I’m not sure if that Trek brown body has bands or not, I can always message the seller, but I’m guessing it might not make a difference.
