First question I ask myself before utilizing the Mego band less body... How much flesh is showing?

I love the arms with well built shoulders and the over all musculature of the Mego body.

It has a neck post so if using a head with a neck plug, that's gotta come off. Specially resin heads. Easier to dremel a neck hole rather then dremeling a hole into the torso.
I suggest dremeling a hole into the neck, then when comes time to fit it on the body, oil up the neck post with cooking oil...then with a hot glue gun fill the hole that you have dremeled into the neck halfway and place it on the post while rotating the head round and round til the glue dries.

Here are two customs I've done using the Mego band-less body.

the Rambo head had a plug that I clipped off which left a hole that fit onto the neck post. John Carter was just a redressing of Superman.

I've also used this o-ring method by youtuber He-bro. If you don't feel comfortable using the hot glue method.

        Thanks for the tips.

The new bandless body are more posable but can be fragile from what I read. I know that most use the S body but I can get Mego bodies fairly easy. Was wondering if some did use them and I see you had great success.

Nice figures, you did a great job.

          Thank you.

I'll be honest, if the Mego bodies were just a bit taller and bit larger over all...I'd use them more often.

I haven't made many customs with them, mainly because my custom time is being used elsewhere but they're ok. I have notes but I don't hate them.

              Thanks for the reply.

I dont hate them either, just need to be carefull with them. Not for children !

I wanted some opinion on them since had an opportunity to buy a small batch of them for faily cheap. I bought them. Will be getting 15 of them for customs.
