Does anyone have an idea of what material would be good for making a collar like the ones on Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman/Girl? It might be similar to what was used for the Star Trek uniforms as well.

Look for black velveteen/flocked craft ribbon--wide width & polyester.
