Eternia---come For The Adventure Stay For The Steroid Laced Water!

It's been awhile since I had my hands on a MOTU figure, how do they comepare sizewize to megos? Could you use one of their heads, arms, etc? I'm brewing a Trapjaw custom and was curious.

Mina is the world's first Paranormal Petsitter in the new middle-grade book series by Gary Buettner, MONSTER PETS, coming in FALL 2014 from EMBY KIDS. Spooky adventure that's perfect reading for kids 8-12

Yeah, I'm surprised that BK or someone hasn't offered Mego-MOTU heads.

everything's too small,.. but the Torso's.
I am pretty sure the Feet & the arms on the New ones might work out well for customs.

A lot of customizers have used the torso to add punch to the Mego frame. This one Brian Leitner did of Hercules, he utilizes what appears to be a MOTU torso.

I hope Brian doesn't mind I am showing off his work.

I thought you might consider enlarging the heads, esp. since colored bodies are easily available from Emce...

What about the new figures from the classics line? They have more detailed sculpts and are a good head, head and a half taller. I'm not really sure if they are really any larger though, they might just be better proportioned.

                ALL HAIL MING!

A slapped together sample of my work:

The heads are too small and dont have enough neck to work with either. You know' like if you wanted to attach it to a Lion Rock body. The chest is the only thing that crosses over into Mego. In a Mego scale world. MOTU people would be dwarfs.

                    >The chest is the only thing that crosses over into Mego.

Although you can get away with using a MOTU head if you use the torso on your Mego figure. Still a bit small, but kinda passable. For most of 'em. (He-Man's head is WAY small.)

                    >In a Mego scale world. MOTU people would be dwarfs.

Funny you saying that, 'cos I use 'em for Mego scaled D&D dwarves.
