Because I was still thinking of the flocked head AJ discussion, has anyone ever tried flocking POTA heads?

These look great. And I love that you sculpt on a head... it makes it sort of like the makeup appliances that they used in the movie.

Thanks for sharing and welcome back!

Since you're building your sculpts on existing heads, couldn't you use the neck plugs on those for your neck posts? By that I mean when you make your casting the neck plug would be cast as well so you could just alter those to your specifications?

i wanted to try something different that I have been mulling over for years. If it doesn’t work I will use the existing neck plugs.

*Maybe* a Lion Rock body? (They're roughly 5 3/4" tall w/o a head on them.) And, unless you're planning to make "child" apes <think Cornelius II from 'Battle' or the TV series' Arno>, don't bother with the "Our Gang/Little Rascal" bodies, because they'd be way too small for Lucius.)

Classic TV Toys sells bodies of the same height as they old Lion Rock figures: https://www.classictvtoys.com/6inchc...ccesories.aspx CTVT also sells 7" bodies, but they're wrestlers bodies, so*way* too buff for lil Lucius.

Also: I just did a back to back comparison between the new Mego Zira and the new Mego Astronaut Brent, and Zira is just a little bit shorter than Brent. In the film, Zira is just a little taller than Lucius, so these two bodies wouldn't be "screen accurate" as far as height differential but still, the new Mego 'Sidekick Body' may be anther option for Lucius...
