Does anyone remember this Saturday Night Live sketch? I think it was Dan Akroyd introducing obviously dangerous toys and defending them while someone else pointed out what was wrong with them. One of them was Johnny Switchblade. I'm pretty sure they just used a Mego Fonzie, with something in his hands as knives. Does anyone know any other details, or have good pics?

Your right Del, it was Dan and Jane Curtain as the hapless host of Consumer Probe. There was a really good Halloween costume one, too. It was just a standard 'ol fonzie that popped up knives from his sleeves. I have the segment on DVD (been buying the SNL season sets).
I'd love to come up with a box for Johnny Switchblade someday from (I think it was called) Mainway toys.Comment
