RC BATMAN cowl shrink....would it work?

Exactly. I've done that to a couple of heads and it brought it back reds in the hue of greys.

Pretty sure the PlastiDip stains the head with a red hue which returns the head to a more flesh tone.

As for my solution to a snug fit, I used a different head it looks perfect. The BW head is just too small but the other heads will work perfect.
Hope to post some pics of my RM Bats and Cap Am. I like how they look.

i have a few cowls that are approximately 7" scale now that I believe were acetoned down. They were not shrunk onto a head, however, and are just smaller versions of the RC. They are rather stiff, but fit on a Lion Rock head nicely.

I take it they don't fit an 8" head anymore?
