OMG! I decided that this doll was lacking something.

Yes, it is a work in progress.

    So, I took Joe's advice.

I designed sleeves and a top for Emma and redid the cape and she looks 100% better. The reason I have not posted her is because I am in the process of making her look like a ***** like someone said I should.

Emma Frost is not a nice person. Dinah Mite's pretty face is too nicey, nicey for her. So, once I figure out how to make her look like a ***** then I will be done and have her in the Finished area. I am actually proud of how this came out after I fixed the top and sleeves.

I will have an updated pic in a day.

Can't wait to see what you've come up with

OK. I fixed up her face to make her look more like a *****. Added the frosted blue sapphire lipstick along with the pointy black eyebrows and the light blue eyeshadow Emma used to wear and sometimes is seen wearing.
I tried to make her look less like a Barbie doll wearing a Klu Klux Klan outfit and more like a mean *****.

Last, I took Joe (Thunderbolts) advice and removed all the paint and I spent a few hours sewing up arm sleeves and a top to match the pants.
Plus, I added some knee high "hooker boots" that I painted white. I have no idea where they came from but thankfully the consignment stores have lots of **** for me to buy in bulk.

Then, I added an X-Men belt buckle that I noticed that she wears once in awhile. I took the logo off this site, printed it out, laminated it and glued it to her white belt.

Am I getting close to making a White Queen for an eleven year old girl to play with?

It's kind of hard to tell, the way the camera flash seems to affect the white. Any chance you could get some pics outside in natural light? From what I can see, it looks like an improvement from the painted cloth. I always thought the stuff you did without painting the fabric always looked better anyway. That head is still bugging me. No matter how you paint it, I still can't see that headscuplt as Emma. Do you think there's a way you could shrink and modify another doll head? Remember, the Mego Invisible Woman had a less "dolly" headsculpt - they might have done the same with Emma if they had made her. If you could find something that has a more refined sculpt it might look better. I think that the Charlie's Angels heads have a lot of potential as custom Mego heads if you shrink them and adapt their necks or use a different kind of neck plug.
Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?

The suit looks a lot better, especially the gloves. I don't think the top is inapropriate for an 11-year old.
But Amy is right about the head. That sculpt is too dolly like, not much you can do about it. Try a Kelly Bundy head, that might do the trick
