Glad you got your pic. How about that dog thing Sulu carries around? That'd make a cool halloween outfit for your favorite canine.

      Other Green shirt....(Not belly)!

Thanks to those Members that answered my thread i found great pics of the "Other green belly shirt" at Trekcore.com. As Dave Mc stated to me about the history of this shirt..." There is no official name for that shirt". Me,..... I'll call it the other green belly shirt or the 1st ever belly shirt. Thanks guys, Ivaniski
Update: Just saw the episode "Court Martial" and this same belly shirt makes an appearance in it.

Funny thing about the "belly" shirt (either version). They were based off a jacket design that was meant to be the updated landing party jacket. It was decided the cost to make and maintain the jackets would have been too high, so that idea was scrapped. The prototype jacket can be seen worn by Charlie Evans in Charlie X....mainly because they didnt have enough costumes to go around yet (note the Antares crew wearing "old school" tunics and the female crewman wearing pants from the two pilots in the rec room).
Shats green shirt used the same design, but used a different fabric (see Charlie X to see the heavier material used for the coat). As everyone knows, the shirt was chosen to help "lift and tuck" Shats gut when he fell off the wagon and packed on the pounds. Not sure if he had to wear a girdle underneath, or the shirt was designed to act like one?

I think "Winged Belly Shirt," "Shoulder Belly Shirt" or "Charlie X" shirt would all work if Charlie was the first appearance of that shirt.

I also prefer "Tribbles Shirt" to "Belly Shirt" myself but I missed the naming contest for that piece long ago I'm sure.
                :D

Just a few thoughts. I'm glad you found pix. Sorry I was away and did not reply sooner.
