What's the best brand to cast body parts with?

    Hi,
I was just curious as to what people thought the best brands to cast body parts with are. I am trying out smooth-on but I noticed that hands come out brittle; especially the area where the wrist plug fits.

    Anyone have suggestions or opinions?

most resins work best in a medium, and they have no strength but are rigid and have shape
where a medium material is not rigid but strong.
try a nylon thread thats has a rough cottony feel NOT fishing line/
larger like a chest I was suggest Nylon window screen material.

Since I am kinda new to this I am not quite following the nylon thread medium. I guess I was thinking that maybe the brand of resin may be too brittle or not flexible enough for this kind of casting.

I've cast hundreds of hands with smooth-on 300 fast set and never had a problem with brittleness. Smooth-on does make a bunch of different types of resins though and some of them do retain some flexibility.

          Hmmmm....

I use Easyflow 60. Works well, stands up to play pretty well, and takes paint real good.
