Cost to do a playset for Star Trek aliens (question)

I'm doing two different playsets for Star Trek aliens. I use original pieces of other new playsets (not mego), with new accessories, new backgrounds and new boxes. I'd say I was going to do two copies to sell one. But I arrive at a cost between 180 and 200 dollars only for the parts (purchase and production), manufacturing of packaging boxes,... Therefore I wonder if I continue to do a second copy to try to sell it.

Can someone advice for me? Does this sound correct that the price of manufacture for a playset comes to almost $ 200? Will I continue to try to do a second copy of these playsets?

Thank you in advance for your help because I still have two or three months for the production of certain materials and boxes.

It depends on what you are planning. Are you talking a Mego style vinyl playset like Mego made?

Manufacturing of packaging boxes? What are you planning? You can get someone here to custom make a couple of boxes, but if you are going to a box manufacturer that's going to cost a lot more than $200.

No, not a display of style vinyl playset. The playset is made of Putrella. There are many plastic accessories such as chairs, armchairs, tables, control panels, radar, ladders, guns, etc.. It is true that there are some signs of Mego style vinyl (cardboard laminated.

For parts, I rely on old new parts of other playsets, with new accessories and boxes. I am currently negotiating the construction of parts in Vietnam to reduce my production costs. The problem is that the number of copies is limited and there are certain fixed costs of production.

Mego in the universe, I find there is a severe lack of accesories ...

      I like the Dida Displays.

      Thanks for your help.

I'll post some pictures of some accessories. But much is being produced. Be forgiving and expect the final result (thanks).

Here is an example of an accessory. It is a command's chair. I am still working on the two labels with controls. I will also paint with a second color some of the cushions. For the manufacture of other copies, I hesitate on the background color (gray?). I think I'll adapt a few the cushions and the feets.

Right,in fact in Star Trek TOS we saw the bridge of a Romulan ship but never the Klingon bridge...so we can all guess what it would looked like...

I always thought a nice Klingon bridge would be nice to see.. Especially with some angled support beams coming down, like on the TMP Klingon set..
