    Cole wants a Superman

My 4 year old grandson, Cole, wants a Mego Superman but he doesn't want a tired and tatty figure like mine, he wants a "clean like new one"!!

Obviously an original figure is out of the question as Supes is going to have to fight the likes of Ben 10 and the Power Rangers so I've thought about building him one from parts.

I've absolutely no idea where it's best to get the parts from. So, if you were doing this what parts would you choose, where from and how much do you think that the total cost would be bearing in mind that I will have to get parts shipped to the UK?

    TIA

You're asking a 4 year old to wait until Spring?

You can always get parts from Doc Mego, CTVT or even here on the Market place.

Doc Mego is the way to go for a quick remego Superman. He'll probably even assemble it for you himself if you ask.

I definitely recommend Doc for parts and things. His service is always the best, his figures are really sturdy as well as being attractive, and his prices are more than reasonable.

I say, go to the Doc!

Even with a decent suit, an original Supes isn't that expensive. Where you might want to upgrade is on the cape. You could cut one yourself-there's a pattern in Customego. Then all you'd need to get boots and a nice repro emblem. I like Doc Mego's stuff too, but piecing an entire figure together from his site adds up.
