Boot question ?

Is it possible to dye mego boots......I have a pair of blue (batman) boots....the color is to light for the custom I'm working on....so what I need to know is can I dye the boots a DARKER blue.... Don't like the way they look painted...........thanks.

I've never dyed an original pair of Mego boots, but I had no trouble with a pair of CTVT ones. As long as the color you want isn't too different from the original. The ones I dyed started out red, and I used blue dye mixed with a little red to make purple. I don't know exactly how to predict what shade you'll get or how dark it will be. But I would imagine that dark blue, or even black dye, would work for you.
