The TYPE "Z" body" (Z for Zicatoys) is born!!!

Funny you should call it that because it's actually the name I was considering calling it when I got the idea to make a new body. Works for me!

At this point I honesty don't know if the hands can be swapped out with other MEGO style hands. If not, there's always the possibility of me doing MEGO style hands that will work if it seems like the demand is there.

Ditto. If it looks as nice in real life (and is as durable and flexible as I hope), I'll be buying by the case too.

ETA: Let me know how many it takes for you to whip up the female body. If the quality of the sculpt is as good as the pic you've posted... well, expect LOTS of orders, dude!

Trust me when I say that a high quality product is top priority with me. That coupled with the fact that I'm a perfectionist pretty much guarantees I'll do my absolute best on these bodies.

I'm already gathering reference material for the female body design but the only way it will get produced is if the sales of the male body and Buck Rogers figures are high enough to justify it.

Yes, there is a joint between the shoulder and the bicep.

How's the flexibility? Can it stand up by itself? How much does it weigh? Can the base body be dyed a different color if necessary?

If by "flexibility" you're referring to how it can be posed it's very flexible. If you're referring to the material it's made of I won't know that until I get an actual production sample. Yes, it can stand by itself. I'm not sure how much it weighs but again, I'll have to wait on a production sample to find out. I'm not sure if they body can be dyed or not but if it sells well it will be made available in different colors.

Is the waist a cut joint, or is there any pivot to it?

The waist can be turned from side to side.
