New 8" Body Teaser Pic

I received the tooling sample for the body and thought I would post an update pic. The sample is actually 5% larger than it should be but this is to account for shrink that will happen on the production pieces. However, through the magic of Photoshop I reduced it to the correct scale to get a better idea of how it compares to an original MEGO body. Unfortunately the joints are very loose and the body can't be posed in different positions. The factory assured me that the joints on the production pieces will be tight.

Have you checked whether Mego hands will fit the new body?

Nice! Are the articulation points exactly the same as the Joe classic collection body? If so, a person can just take a look at one of those for details.

No, they're different. The elbow and knee joints have been modified to look like they type used on a MEGO body, and additional articulation has been added to the upper arms and upper legs.

The picture does bring up one small question though... Will the body be all one color, or will you have the classic Mego undies look going on? Maybe it's just me, but I always liked the blue undies...

They'll probably be all one color but that could change.

I'd like to have them ready by Christmas but I can't say for sure if that's when they'll be available.
