    Bela Lugosi Head?

Alright, Now that I finally got back to customs and have been able to finally finish a few, I have decided to re-do the mad monsters line of mego toys. At first I settled on Bela Lugosi to be dracula because he was Dracula around the time that all the other classic monsters made their film debutes (frankenstien, wolf man) But I love all the hammer dracula films with Christopher Lee and than remembered that almost all those classic monsters were re-invented in the Hammer Horror line (Frankenstien, the Mummy). But in the end I really wanted a Bela Lugosi dracula. I'm not a terrible sculpture, but I'm not at a level where I can make Bela Lugosi's head not look like Jar-Jar Binks. Does anyone have a Bela Lugosi head? If not I'm going to have to go with Christopher Lee.

There was the Flatt Drac a few years ago. Also the Sideshow 8 inch figures heads work well on Mego. Ohh, and now thanks to the thread title I have a Bauhaus song stuck in my head.

There have also been some cool 8" model kits of Bela and other monsters. They could be modded to fit Mego heads.

If someone decides to sell a Bela Lugosi head I'd be interested in getting at
        least one.

I've had the same dilemma. I've got a Doc Mego body with a beautiful CTVT Grandpa Munster costume and a snappy new pair of shiny black shoes - all waiting for a decent vampire head.

This is my Dracula. the head is sculpted by a guy named Thomas Kuntz, the head I actually got from Matt Jaycox (the mold he has is no longer usable though). I built up the back of the head and gave his formally closed mouth fangs (no self respecting 1970's Dracula toy would not show fangs just because Bela never showed his).

I think the head was originally from a garage model kit and I bet there are other heads of this type floating around. (this image is large)

Bela Lugosi's dead. The bats have left the bell tower. The victims have been bled.

Has anyone tried to shrink a "little big heads"? I plan to use some for famous covers size, I know T-bolt used a couple for big scale. Maybe a little shrinky-dink in some acetone.

I want to use the FC Nightcrawler head: pointy ears/fangs.

Anybody carry the flatt drac head?

I have a Flatt Style Bela head, safely removed from the Flatt style Bela Body (not a resin cast). It could easily be cast and modified with a neck plug for mego bodies or reused as is, but I don't cast myself. I'll offer it up for use if someone wants to cast it and gimme one. They can keep the original or whatever. I don't have any real plans for it.
