I didn't know that. I thought my Brady Sulu and Chekov were better likenesses than the Emce. I only have Chekov to compare, I'll go look later.

If Emce used the Brady Gorn head, Doc REALLY should have used the Brady Kit. I still want one of those but I'll buy 2 of the Sulu/Gorn 2packs anyway.

Maybe the "skinny" Gorn are from the North.

If you haven't seen the Brady Gorn yet, you should

I think it was done using parts of Hulk body and some custom work of course. He used to sell the parts so you could make your own.

Very nice work. All of James' work is nice. Some of it is just outstanding.

I loved the Amok Time, STTMP and Worf/Gowron two packs. All nicely done. The STII figures were nice although some likenesses were off. FINALLY, someone made Capt. Terell! That was a good instance of replacing the Playmates versions of Saavik and Khan with the AA/DST versions.

I was disappointed when DST cancelled the STIII Kruge and Maltz set. I really wanted that set!

I never noticed these. Maybe because they weren't Mego-style... they are 6inches tall? Articulated? I'll have to see if I can find one to look at in person.

But that Kirk sculpt is awful. Spock too for that matter. But a cool idea.

[QUOTE=cdhall;339483]And after looking at your site, I will PM or email you about a custom Enterprise Model. I don't see that you take commissions but you may be able to help me. I am looking for a way to get a STII era Enterprise painted as the USS Argonaut with a Hull number I'll have to go look up. But I'll PM you.

Ivaniski is also looking for decals for the Original Shuttlecraft Galileo if you know where he can find those.
                      [QUOTE]

Hi! Wonderful custom Megos! Thanks for looking at my site. No, I no longer take requests. Sorry about that. Between long work hours, home renovations, publishing my first novel and working on my second, I'm squeezing model building in these days. In fact, I took a year off from being a model dealer at the Maryland conventions. I intend to return next year with an array of new models but it'll take me the rest of 2009 to build them.

I will check out the links you sent and your Photobucket. Thank you very much for all of the information!

As for the Galileo shuttle craft decals, you can go to JT Graphics. Jeff Waclawski is a graphic artist that has been making decals for Trek and other models for years. default

Granted, the DST plastic figures are not the best sculpts but they are far better than Playmates. Some figures look excellent, like the Capt. Terrell or the Klingons like Gowron and Martok. Odo, Sisko, and Kira from DS9 are really nice as is Data, Riker and Q from TNG. The younger Kirk and Spock figures were well done but yes, the ST II figures could have been better.

Hey, Bat. I happened to compare the price from this Amazon dealer vs. prices on ebay for Mego Khan and WOW, what a difference. I was able to get it from Amazon for less than half the cost I see on Amazon and half the cost of shipping in some cases as well.

Thanks again for the tip! I knew I'd love this forum.....

Got the EMCE Mego Khan today! Love it! So in the past three days, I got the EMCE Khan, Keeper, Andorian and Gorn. I had a loose EMCE Andorian but I wanted one on the card. So now I have a nice mix of Vintage Trek Mego, Dr. Mego's Customs, and EMCE.

Now boys and girls it's time to go in search of some customs.....
