8" scale racing helmet

I'm looking for a racing helmet (closed face, NASCAR style) that will fit a mego head. any suggestions?

There are NASCAR Pez dispensers out there, they might work

The Pez helmets will fit. Just be sure to use a smallish head such as a Bruce Wayne head.

There were some racing champions figures out as well that had helmets with them. The Pez route is probably the cheaper, easier option.

You can dremel (Grind) out the supports in the helmet and make fit larger heads.

Hmmmm....

A few years back you could buy sets of Majorette cars that came with Mego scaled helmets. The racing ones need to be Dremel'd out; but they work.

Jim you looking for one in perticular or a general one. I bought loads of them. Send me a PM. A not as easy route is to look at the rc cars at Goodwill or thrift stores.

Not to dredge up an old thread... but I did end up converting one of those Pez helmets, and thought I would share some pics. A very simple project to try out my new Dremel!





Yeah, Spock doesn't seem the NASCAR type... but he loves to get his picture taken.
