The Brain, need suggestions

SO I found this cool brain in a tank, the Uncle from "City of Lost Children". I need to find parts for it so i can come close and also want to figure out how to pull off the brain in a bubbly fish tank look.

T-bolt, are you going for a steampunk version or a more classic Silver-Age look?

I'm planning a classic SA Mego Doom Patrol & have thought a lot about the Brain (the '60s version).

The base could be a cast of the control box from the Aurora Robin kit.

The head, a skull modified/filled in with sculpey, with the top removed.

The cranium dome is more difficult--maybe a hair-product lid or bulb?

Model kits & educational stores have various brains--even erasers!

For the bubbly fluid, maybe that gel that you get at craft stores in the floral dept.--it simulates water in silk arrangements & can be tinted. I bet it can hold bubbles after it half-sets.

I'm going for something like in the pic I put up there. Sort of a retro Victorian look. There is a speaker and camera lens for the bain to see and talk in addition to the two gramaphone looking things for his ears. THe tanks is sort of like a fishtank, I think the design is sort of based on old Hammer Frankenstein brain holders.

There used to be a brain on some 7-11 slurpee straws in a clear cube.I think it was supposed to be an ice cube you could try that.I think they were called brain freeze straws or something along those lines?
