    Golden-spangled fabric

I love the Mego Knights chainmail-type knit fabric. I'd like to find it in other colors, particularly yellow/gold.

    Has anyone seen something comparable/similar?

I have some spandex that would work, its not like the Mego stuff, more sparkly.

Do you think it would work for the shirt inset on Loki? I'm trying to decide between SS scales or a specific fabric.

I found a knights-type fabric in blue (from a Paco wrestler cape, I think) that would be perfect for the top of Captain America's shirt.

You might go on line and look for spandex world or house...can't remember but it has a lot there.

Yeah, it would work for Loki, and thanks for the idea.

                  Hmmmm....

If you're really hard pressed for that sort of thing, try a party/costume store. Sometimes they'll have costumes made with strange fabrics that you can use on your figures.

I also would like to add that if you have a thrift store close by like a GoodWill or equivelant type of store one can find an array clothes with different fabrics. I check them out every now and then when I go hunting for Mego's and other toys. I have seen some pretty mild to wild clothes in those type of stores during my journeys. Every now and then one will really catch my eye for the fabric/material. They are great just for cutting up to make custom outfits or what have you.

Too much space. Need more toys!
