Who has made a Swamp Thing figure on here?

My girlfriend and I are creating a Swamp Thing figure. She is a fan of Swamp Thing and I thought it would be cool to create a mego-scale Swamp Thing character with her helping me.

Who has attempted this character? Did you use a Mego body?

I am using a Sabertooth Famous Covers body (bigger and bulkier) and it has the shape to add vines and all kinds of creep swampy things to him.

I would like to see pictures of some people's work on here to get an idea what you did (and what I want to add.)

I have, but I can't find the pic. I basically did a green lycra suit and did sort of a paper mache (sp) thing over it using textured napkins for the paper. I also added a bunch of green horticulture twine for vines (the string you use to tie plants up).

I sold that one, If I redid him, I'd just do a better paint app on the face, too much of the plastic of Jonn's head is showing thru.

I like that one Joe. I am doing something like that. After seeing that, I am realizing my green coloring might need to come a shade darker. We have been poking and prodding the figure for two days. I am going to the craft store tomorrow to get some things to add to him.

OK everyone after about two weeks of tweaking and planning (and looking at some of your ideas.) If have finally finished my Swamp Thing figure.

Sqw it, looks good, but I would have went with a suit under all that stuff to hide all the joints.
