You say he's got an Octopus Head,.. & Batwings ?

I have been in the CraftStore(s) like Joann's & Micheal alot lately,.. they have these Little plastic Octopus figures..., that are pretty much the same size as a Mego Head... I think it would would Nicely.

Also,.. there are Many,.. I mean Many, Spawn or Spawn type figures,.. that have Batwings. Figures from Neca, like the Castlevania chick has a great pair too.

This figure could be very easy to pull off, & creat, if you wanted something like this Bud.

In theory it does sound kind of simple....but have you seen a pic of this creature ? Try googleing it J and see what you come up with.....He's a pretty scary dude ! About 3 years ago a 15 or 16 inch version of the creature was done up for one of those heroclix games...wasnt a superhero game and to think about it he may have been between 18 and 20 inches tall. If I can find a cool pic I will send it to you if not like I said google him

            Hmmmm....

Y'know; in 8" scale Cthulhu would be about 25-40 feet tall....

I don't have a Cthulhu, but I made a jiffyquick Shoggoth. Bought a bunch of dark green and black pompoms, connected them loosely with invisible thread, and made some tentacles from entwined pipe cleaners, which I attached randomly throughout. If you make it big enough it'll actually "flow" like a real one. (Mine was about 2 feet around. I bought a LOT of pompoms....)

He actually looks like he would be fun to make

Capt. Kirk: "Is there anyone on this ship, who even remotely, looks like Satan?"
Mr. Spock: "I am not aware of anyone who fits that description, Captain"
Capt. Kirk: "No, Mr. Spock, I didn't think you would be"

                          Hmmmm....

I have a friend that makes up all sorts of weird posters, pics and assorted sundries; and he used that first pic for a replica Atari cartidge: "Rl'yeh Surf Champion '78."

....and now I think fo that every time I see it.

                          >gotta be a 12" muscle body

At least! I was thinking of making a pseudo-8" scale giant monster, and thought I'd make it like a stuffed animal over a wood and steel frame. I think that's work pretty good for Cthulhu.

As a basis, why not use a 7" POTC Davy Jones head.
