Beady little eyes!

So I'm about to go out to buy some beads to use for a custom head sculpt's eyes...

Any tips on what size or material works best? I'm using Super Sculpey, so I assume I need to use glass or metal beads.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Go to the dollar store, get some of them bead kits. I found a bunch that are really good. Use the hole in the bead as the pupil; fill 'em in when done, use 'em as a wireholder when working on the gaze.
