This was my first go around. I may have to do more.

Question, Do Sharpies come in other colors, like maybe orange or tan? Just thining maybe a color closer to flesh color would give better results.

Last minute note !!!!! Try Light brown sharpie,..just used it on a zombie and color came out a lot better,..more fleshy hue,..and remember guys,..less sharpie, more alcohol (not brandy, scotch or liquor,..but thanks Hotfoot for suggestion LOL).

So which one works better? The RIT dyeing or the sharpie?
Either one seems loads easier than that plastidip crap.

I am so happy this is working. I was about to try the plasti dip way.

I prefer it this way than with plastidip,..to much work,..the dip costs $$$,..while with my technique,..its simple, faster and you can reach the shade of skin you prefer best!! And the charm is,..eyes and teeth dont get painted (thanks to the alcohol)!!!! Just remember,..the red sharpie for pinkish toned skins (like Dorothy), and lt. brown sharpie for fleshy tones (like most male mego's). Works also on 12" Zombies as well!
I call my process the "SharpRay Technique". no mixing, no dipping, no messes!

Jon came out okay, but Ponch is too pink. May llok for a light brown one to add to it. These are just experimental heads for me.
