    Clear vs. White resin question

All of the art stores and hobby stores near me only sell clear resin (and dyes to put in it). Should I get those?

Is there a specific brand of resin I should look out for?

Can I make the resin opaque?

    Hmmmm....

It depends what you're making. The clear stuff tends to harden really smooth; which is great for clear parts, but bad for painting. I use a polyurethane resin (EasyFlow 60) 'cos it's surface is a wee bit porus, so it holds paint really well.

I get my stuff from a place in Alberta; 3D Plastics. (PH: 1-604-462-7755.) Usually takes less than a week to get to Windsor.
