    restringing Mego question

    Hi,
I was wondering if there was a video showing how to restring Mego's. Everytime I do it I stretch them rubberbands so much that once its restrung its just as loose as it was when I started so any help would be great.

    Thanks,
    John

Use Stretch string, & throw the Rubbers away.

          restringing Mego question.......

I always use "Stretchrite" Round cord elastic. It helps me give my Type 2 Megos and Emce figures get more ROM (range of motion)....Especially, The arms horizontally. See pics below for samples....

The round elastic cord is cheap. I bought my last batch at Hancock Fabrics on a 50% off sale. A pack of the stuff will re-string a ton of figures. Ivaniski, I really like Supe's costume. Is that your work?

The previous posted re-strung Supes costume is from Doc Mego's Blue jump suit w/Red shorts, My cape and Brian Leitner belt. However, This Superman below is a type 2 original costume w/some modification to the belt, boots, and cape.

Wow that is without a doubt one of the nicest Superman figures I have ever seen.

Thank you all for the tips on what I should be using to restring my loose Mego's
